What's New?

Update News as of November 1, 2004

What's New in our Lives? Well, there's quite a bit, seeing as we've been away from here for so long! Where to even start?

Well, for starters, we have become a slightly larger family than we were before! We are now the Workman/ Taylor family and hopefully soon this site will changing and expanding to reflect that change! The Driver/Workman family history will still be here, but the site will be changing to include all of our family news and information to be shared. Our family now includes Michael and I, Michael's two sons- Chad and Ryan Taylor, My two children- Dorie and Ryan, plus of course our addition together....... Jack, the rebellious, spoiled baby of the family..... Jack is our dog who thinks he's head of the family! He's a year and a half old rat terrior and is going through his terrible two's or his doggie adolesence. If he survives to three, he will be lucky!!

We have spent the last year or so working on Michael's dream of having his own workshop/garage space. It's been a huge undertaking and challenge but it's been worth it! We now have a large shop space where he can work on his hobbies and interests which include working on vintage autos, wood working, and restoring antique campers. I will admit that I have never been much a mechanical type so I'm not much help to him in most of his projects.... in fact I'm probably more of hinderance than a help, but I do try and I am proud of everything we've accomplished there! Michael and his brother Jeff spent most of last winter remodeling the shop and now it looks great- except for those irritating little leaks that just keep showing up in the roof! Jeff moved to Montana in April and we sure miss him! Maybe one of these days we'll be able to post some pictures of the shop and Jeff will get to a computer and be able to see all of it now!

The shop keeps Michael pretty busy but he enjoys it. Eventually we will adding to the site to share some those interests with everyone. As for me, work keeps me pretty busy most of the time but I am finding a little extra time to get back to some of the hobbies and interests I enjoy like sewing, this site, and the family history.

A Time For Families

. All of our families are spread out far apart and it's hard to keep in touch with everyone. We just want everyone to know we are thinking of you, we miss you, we love you and we wish you were closer to visit!

Dorie is in Delaware, Ohio

Ryan Alfaro is still in Crosby, MN

Ryan Taylor is in Omaha, NE

Chad Taylor is Fairmont which is close to us but we still don't get to see him as often as we'd like!!

Jeff Taylor is in Montana now
